Need a little lift to get practicing piano again. Setup a log sheet and try to practice 1 minute more than you did yesterday. You'd be amazed at how quickly you'll be practicing twice as much as you did before.

Hi Everyone:
As we approach the fall season I want to suggest to all my Andover & North Andover piano students that they take a few minutes to makeup a list of songs they would like to learn in the upcoming year.
The songs can be popular or classical or both.
Give me your list at your first piano lesson and I'll do my best to teach you as many of those songs as possible during the piano lesson year.

Hi Everyone:
Just a quick note on practicing piano in the summer. While we all know that piano practicing will drop a LOT in the summer it is important to at least get to the piano at least once or twice a week so you don't forget a lot of what you've learned during the year. This is especially important with the younger students who haven't been taking piano lessons very long and thus have limited experience.
Hope this little message helps and please check in from time to time as I will be writing more tidbits of information which I hope will be very helpful.
